My name is Sofie Roth. I am a California-licensed nail technician specializing in natural nails, E-file manicure, and SMART pedicure.

When it comes to nails, the words “unique approach” are not just a flashy expression.
There is no one particular solution or template that would work for every client. Some people have dry skin, some have brittle nails, some have blood vessels located too close to the cuticle, and some have curved nails.
A good nail technician knows how to approach each one of those different characteristics. In addition, having cuticles properly buffed prevents the formation of hangnails so that nails look neat and healthy for a long time

MY CAREER
I started my career as a nail technician in Russia in 2009 when there was no E-file yet. In 2016 I moved to the USA, got my license to work in California, and discovered the world of hardware manicure and pedicure.
I have taken many courses, studied all kinds of techniques, and developed my own unique work methodology, which allows me to work quickly and carefully without compromising the high quality of my work.
I HAVE BUILT a REPUTATION AS a HIGH-LEVEL SPRECIALIST
I have worked with many different clients, including celebrities and models. I have also been doing nails for clients who work on film sets and models for fashion shows. This is my element because I have always dreamed of being involved in the world of fashion, art, and cinema.
I have built a reputation as a high-level specialist who can find a unique approach for any client and work with nails of any complexity.
I am open to new interesting ideas
and collaborations.
WHY DO I LOVE WORKING WITH NATURAL NAILS
California is a place where a healthy lifestyle is heavily promoted, which is why natural beauty comes first here.
When I look at a client’s nails, I can tell with a very high degree of certainty whether that person has any health problems, vitamin or mineral deficiencies. Thus, well-groomed, strong, and beautiful natural nails are a good indicator of health and a high standard of living.

I follow the E-file Manicure & Pedicure technique. This means I perform all my work on dry skin, using an electric file with a small bit that slowly buffs away the dead skin surrounding the nail bed and ensures no cuts. As a result, your nails are perfectly trimmed, smooth, polished, and ready for a flawlessly smooth polish coat.
With the neatly buffed cuticle, your nail will appear longer, and a nail technician can apply gel or nail polish closer to the base of the nail. As a result, your hands and feet look well-groomed, neat, and healthy for a long time.

DO I OFFER NAIL TECHNICIAN TRAINING?
Yes. At some point, I realized that I had accumulated enough knowledge and experience to share with others.
However, I prefer not to teach from scratch. I like working with already experienced specialists who experience difficulties with work and gaps in their knowledge. I can help them improve specific aspects that can affect the speed and quality of work. It could be tricks for hardware manicure, detailed work with cuticles, removing the coating, shaping the nail, etc. In addition, I also teach such intricacies of working with clients as increasing your earnings, improving client turnover, building a solid book, and many other little tricks that will allow you to be at peace with your work and enjoy it.

I am very good at analyzing other nail technicians’ works, which allows me to suggest solutions to their problems.

In my free time, I like watching Italian movies and traveling.
In addition, I have completed my education as an art explainer. I give lectures on sacred artwork (my specialty is the Renaissance) and explain how art is connected with the world of show business and celebrities.
